Airfix: D.H. Mosquito

This is the old Airfix Mosquito kit. There is nothing special about this kit other then its an older release of this kit. So old that is has no interior other then a 8x2 plank for the pilot figure to sit on. And that is what attracted me to this kit. My goal was to attempt to scratch build a somewhat respectable interior for the kit knowing all to well it would never be seen once the fuselage halves were sealed. But none the less that was the goal of this build

The kit, I have to admit the box art is pretty damn cool

That came out great and it always stinks with aircraft I see all the work you guys put into detail and so much of it gets buttoned up. But no matter it still looks great.

Not going to lie, I had a lot of fun building that cockpit. Revisiting this build through this post has me wanting to do another one that I had planed on doing back when I did this one but never did. That is the Beaufighter. While I built that aircraft back in the day I never did the cockpit
