Primer Apprentice
Hello, Model maniacs, you guys might remember me from one of the other many many HLI forums. i've been a member of them all at one point or another. I like to build whatever comes into my mind: cars, planes, boats, figures, scifi, civilian, Superhero, comic/ cartoon, fantasy, polystyrene, resin cast, 3D printed and even paper. i even dabble in prop builds.
last year was a hard year for me when it came to modeling. I lost my mojo and have been struggling to get it back. While I still browse the interwebs looking at other peoples builds and daydream of my own projects to do, when i sit down at my bench I'm stymied. I've been trying to start small by finding things that I can just paint and embrace the euphoria of completing something. It seems to be working but not at the pace I was hoping for, but little progress is better then none at all. My resolution for this new year (2026) is to get on top of this and start building regularly again.
I host my own silly little youtube channel where I share my builds. Not so much as a "Dig me" channel but more as a "How NOT to build" because my methods are usually so ass backwards
