Seam Filler
Throwing it back with one of my favorite projects — my NomNom Figures Jack Skellington diorama. I built this one a while ago, but since the forum is new I wanted to share it again because it was such a fun (and slightly insane) build.
The big thing I’m still proud of is the custom lit base. I recreated the Nightmare Before Christmas logo inside a “moon” panel and used my Cricut to cut a stencil so I could get the lettering crisp. Getting that glow and keeping the edges clean took some patience, but it was totally worth it once it lit up.
For the weathering, the rust on the gate/metal bits was done with the Ammo by Mig U-Rust system, and the rest of the paintwork was a mix of Ammo by Mig, Scale 75, Tamiya, and Vallejo depending on what I needed for the job.
Those stripes on Jack’s suit were BRUTAL on my eyes
Super happy with how it turned out, but I’m not sure I’d volunteer to do that part again anytime soon.
Dropping pics below, if you’ve built this one too, I’d love to see yours!
