Romulan D7 - Animated Series - Polar Lights 1:1000

This model took FOREVER to get done.

I was writing my dissertation at the time and decided to use ALL enamels for painting; so, it was several days waiting between each and every coat. The finish is great though.

I decided to try a scheme from the Animated Series, that old Filmation style. I don't know if I succeeded. It was still fun to try out.

I also made a custom base by scanning one of the Bird or Prey patterns on the decal sheet and printing it on transparency.
