I've been building, honest!

Steve

New on the Bench
I retired last November with the grand plan of settling in and spending that time building...Blah, blah, blah. Yeah, then spring arrived, the yard needed overhauled, rocketry season and multiple classes to be taught and presentations to give and... Yeah.
I did, however, manage to squeeze this one in at the start of my permanent vacation. I have always had a bit of a love affair with this suit and was ecstatic when Monarch issued this kit. I bought the issue of Life magazine in hopes it would have some decent reference photos and is turned out, it didn't. But it made a nice backdrop.

For the groundwork and added "realism" I dusted everything with lunar regolith from Exolab that I had left over from another science-based project along with tiny pebbles from MMR-1 Mars regolith also leftovers. I was pretty happy with the results. Thanks for looking.
