Oh yes ... going old school, out-of-the-box with this one. It's the most recent Round2 re-release.



Okay ... a couple little accurizing tweaks, but mostly build and paint. And slopping on something like a pound or two of putty.

I'll be starting soon (for a change.)

That's cool. I have the original amt kit but it's missing the clear green parts. also has a super sketchy boom to hull attachment

This is the 2024 version, so the clear bits have been replaced with molded in nubs. The neck join is still super-jank, so there will need to be some reinforcing. And I gotta strip all the chrome and repaint.

I do have this one , built up in sections, but with different box art. Mine ,so far, has gone together with very little problems.

Pretty close. I'm gonna try to use some telescoping brass tube to reinforce that, and check for any twists in the neck.

Wonder if a threaded rod with some kind of plate and nut attachment could be rigged up
