Chitubox Print Files On USB Don't Show On Printer

New on the Bench
Not sure if this goes here so please advise if otherwise. Hadn't done any printing for quite a while. Have a couple of STL's that I wanted to print up. One needed scaled way up, one needed scaled down to fit on my Photon Mono 6K. That's not the problem, though. I got everything ready, sliced and loaded on to the USB I've been using. But when I went to print, only one of the sliced files appeared on the selections on the printer. They show on the USB when plugged into my laptop. The USB is only about 6% full, so that's not the issue. Any suggestions?

You mentioned you haven't done any printing in a while. Have you checked to see if there's a software update for your printer?

Another option is to reformat the USB drive.

@DanRoss are you using the usb that came with the printer? If so ditch it and get a better one and load everything back on to it and try that. The ones they give out are crappy and fail after awhile.

Not using that one. Using one I bought to replace it. Hadn't had any issues with it before, but hadn't printed anything for a long time. It's a SanDisk brand which are usually good. Only 1% of the space is used on it.

Are we talking about the actual printer, or the slicing software? Been using Chitubox V2.3. No newer version is listed when I open it. Anycubic Photon Workshop is 3.3 on the app. There appears to be an update to 3.6, but it it doesn't respond when I click the update tab.

The USB is formatted to FAT32.

Update: I may have a corrupted print file. I deleted everything off of the USB and started over in a different order for the one model. The first showed fine on the printer. The second upload was missing. Deleted that one and tried a different part of the model. That showed fine. Added another, and that showed fine. Going to separate the 3 parts of the upload that didn't show and try them one at a time. If one of them fails to show, that will probably be the culprit.

Update #2: Looks like it's a corrupted file. Will try the files for another model I already set up and see what happens. Need to slice them again though. My Chitubox is misbehaving though. Screen flashing and it crashed in the middle of adding supports to piece. Oh well.

Well, I'm not sure why, but both the models I wanted to print weren't showing all the parts when I plugged the USB into the port. I pulled an older file out that I had previously printed, loaded it onto the USB, and it appeared on the ready to print list on the printer. The ones that weren't showing were both files that were resized. One was tiny and it was resized up 600%. The other was too big for my printer and it was downsized by 50%. I'm guessing this was the cause, but I'm not well versed in the minutia to know the answer.

Well, I discovered that there was an update for Chitubox available. Downloaded it. Very different in the layout of the functions. Not sure I like it. But I'm an old stick-in-the-mud, too. Bottom line is, it seems to have worked. The prints I've uploaded are showing up on the printer. I printed a piece that was missing in the printer list before. Printing up a good sized base right now for a Supergirl print I got off of CG Trader, which I can't show on here as it's very naughty;).
